Match Preview: Glentoran (a)

Supporters bus: Gibson's Lane 7pm

Ards travel to the Oval looking to end a poor run which has seen them crash out of the Irish Cup and lose four of the last five league games. Although on a more positive note they have gained five points from their last five away games in the league and the only two defeats were by the narrowest of margins, losing 1-0 at both Dungannon and Crusaders.

The two previous encounters with the Glens this season have finished with a win for each side. Ards had an excellent 2-0 at the Oval in November but an early goal for Curtis Allen settled the match at Bangor in October.

Team selection will pose manager Colin Nixon some problems, Ruddy and Clarke are still suspended and Elebert, Byers and Frazer are all injured, although the versatile Cameron Stewart might provide some options in defence .Glentoran danger man Curtis Allen will no doubt be delighted to hear of the absentees in the Ards back line and will

be hoping to add to his tally of 15 goals this season to help clinch a Glentoran win to cement their current position in the top six. Ards for their part lie in ninth position but will be casting nervous looks over their shoulder as teams below them start to pick up a few points.

Once again the PASC will be running a bus to the game which will leave the Social Club/Gibson's Lane at 7.00 p.m.
